Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arif Başeğmez started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Menekse's goal looked a bit too open when Doğuhan Baykut came free, but Hıdır Mengübay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doğu Atletik were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Menekse's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Özalp Sezmen took the corner. Doğu Atletik's Özalp Sezmen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hıdır Mengübay in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Yağızhan Sarbay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ertaç Arıhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Başeğmez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lütfi Tankut got free with Ertaç Arıhan in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lütfi Tankut hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The Doğu Atletik fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Doğu Atletik's Doğuhan Baykut looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 31 played minutes Menekse got a freekick which was hit by Arda Baybars Canıtez. When Doğu Atletik's Sacit Uğurtan in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Menekse's goalie prevented a goal. Ertaç Arıhan made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Arif Başeğmez sent off a good shot on target. Lütfi Tankut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Ertaç Arıhan made a huge save. Ertaç Arıhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Başeğmez in the 40th minute of play. When Özalp Sezmen fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Doğu Atletik's protests and gave Özalp Sezmen a yellow card for diving instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Doğuhan Baykut made the kick off in the second half. Doğu Atletik's Ertaç Arıhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Başeğmez in the 54th minute of play. Sezen Cezri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes, Arif Başeğmez made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Doğu Atletik's Ertaç Arıhan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ertaç Arıhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Başeğmez in the 61st minute of the match. Ertaç Arıhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lütfi Tankut went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Sezen Cezri charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sezen Cezri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Doğu Atletik booed when Menekse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sezen Cezri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ertaç Arıhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Başeğmez, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Alpay Akkın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Lütfi Tankut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doğuhan Baykut in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hıdır Mengübay saved Menekse from getting behind. Sakut Ahsen's late challenge caught a Doğu Atletik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sakut Ahsen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Sakut Ahsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doğuhan Baykut who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Hıdır Mengübay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lütfi Tankut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ertaç Arıhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Menekse were victorious despite being under pressure from Doğu Atletik for much of the match.
