After a rather tough play, Tekirdağ Spor's Peker Semail got a free kick in the 40th minute. Tekirdağ Spor's Yiğitcan Nurbaki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Tekirdağ Spor from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When Cabbar Gemici fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
