Zülfü Çetinalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Ali Güralp Orkan made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Cakirlar's Barbaros Erencan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ali Güralp Orkan. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. 8 minutes into the game, Cakirlar's Zülfü Çetinalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Güralp Orkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 12 minutes into the match, Nakkastepe's goalkeeper Ali Güralp Orkan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zülfü Çetinalp. Bora Han Somer charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bora Han Somer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Nakkastepe got a freekick which was hit by Bora Han Somer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barbaros Erencan in the 21st minute of play forced Nakkastepe's goalkeeper Ali Güralp Orkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Güralp Orkan made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Demirhan Çelikoz sent off a good shot on target. If Işıkalp Tüzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fehmi Radi scored 2-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arman Önateş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ali Güralp Orkan was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Kamil Beksan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kamil Beksan really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. In the 35th minute, Barbaros Erencan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ali Güralp Orkan. The goal made the score 4-1. In the 38th minute, Zülfü Çetinalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fehmi Radi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Işıkalp Tüzel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 45 minutes, Fehmi Radi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nakkastepe and the Cakirlar players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Işıkalp Tüzel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Işıkalp Tüzel sped through Cakirlar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arman Önateş. Nakkastepe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
