The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anıl Mücahit Akağan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Romoşan in the 3rd minute of play. Hafriz Tan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Anıl Mücahit Akağan made a huge save. ATLANTIS's Edgar Cercelescu got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anıl Mücahit Akağan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Romoşan in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Edgar Cercelescu made a precise shot to the right of Anıl Mücahit Akağan. Zonguldak Asmaspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Zonguldak Asmaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Cercelescu came free, but Anıl Mücahit Akağan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ATLANTIS's Ahmet Oğuz Onbulak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sarper Kutertan in the 20th minute of play. Ahmet Oğuz Onbulak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdinç Nedim in the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Codruț Romoşan in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anıl Mücahit Akağan saved Zonguldak Asmaspor from getting behind. Anıl Mücahit Akağan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Cercelescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erdinç Nedim in the 26th minute of play forced ATLANTIS's goalkeeper Ahmet Oğuz Onbulak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Romoşan in the 28th minute of play forced Zonguldak Asmaspor's goalkeeper Anıl Mücahit Akağan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as ATLANTIS's Hafriz Tan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anıl Mücahit Akağan. That made the score 3-0 after 41 minutes of play. Anıl Mücahit Akağan made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Hafriz Tan sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Cercelescu got free with Anıl Mücahit Akağan in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the match, Codruț Romoşan notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Zonguldak Asmaspor's Anıl Mücahit Akağan. Anıl Mücahit Akağan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hafriz Tan to make the kick off. A collision led to Zonguldak Asmaspor getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Alphan Oran hit a great ball. ATLANTIS were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Zonguldak Asmaspor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bror Fredriksson took the corner. Bror Fredriksson made a great header on ATLANTIS's corner, it was just that Zonguldak Asmaspor's Anıl Mücahit Akağan managed to reach the ball for a save. Mustafa Ekrem Çinuçin charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Anıl Mücahit Akağan came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by ATLANTIS's Codruț Romoşan. But to his dismay, Codruț Romoşan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After some careless play in the Zonguldak Asmaspor defense, Hafriz Tan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anıl Mücahit Akağan. The Zonguldak Asmaspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anıl Mücahit Akağan should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute, Münir Şahit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATLANTIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. 84 minutes into the match, Zonguldak Asmaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Hafriz Tan came free, but Anıl Mücahit Akağan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anıl Mücahit Akağan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Codruț Romoşan went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. After 91 played minutes Zonguldak Asmaspor got a freekick which was hit by Altay Korgan. Anıl Mücahit Akağan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Fredriksson in the 92nd minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Zonguldak Asmaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Cercelescu came free, but Anıl Mücahit Akağan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the ATLANTIS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
