Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) ATLANTIS's Hafriz Tan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Edgar Cercelescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yavuz Selim Buminhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 10th minute Edgar Cercelescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuz Selim Buminhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Şamil Balcan fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaski's protests and gave Şamil Balcan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ATLANTIS booed when Gaski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şamil Balcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Codruț Romoşan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Codruț Romoşan in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yavuz Selim Buminhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaffar Birsan hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Codruț Romoşan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yavuz Selim Buminhan. Gaski's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Codruț Romoşan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Yavuz Selim Buminhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Cercelescu in the 28th minute of the match. Günay Özkutlu kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Yusuf Ziya Yazgı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Münir Şahit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Codruț Romoşan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuz Selim Buminhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, ATLANTIS's Ahmet Oğuz Onbulak got control of the ball when Anıl Ege Önateş tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 minutes ATLANTIS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serter Denizcan who took care of the corner kick. Gaski's Serter Denizcan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ahmet Oğuz Onbulak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The attack was good, but when Codruț Romoşan in the 42nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 45 minutes into the match, Gaski's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Romoşan came free, but Yavuz Selim Buminhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Gaski's Aktaç Ünsever ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmet Oğuz Onbulak. Ahmet Oğuz Onbulak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Hafız Demirel made the kick off in the second half. Gaski's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Codruț Romoşan scored to the left of an out of position Yavuz Selim Buminhan, making the score, 1-3. After 56 minutes of play, ATLANTIS's Hafriz Tan made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yavuz Selim Buminhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Münir Şahit scored 1-5 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yavuz Selim Buminhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aktaç Ünsever's late challenge caught a ATLANTIS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aktaç Ünsever helped the player get up and apologised. Aktaç Ünsever kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Yavuz Selim Buminhan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 1-7. 78 minutes into the game, Edgar Cercelescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Yavuz Selim Buminhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yavuz Selim Buminhan came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by ATLANTIS's Edgar Cercelescu. But to his dismay, Edgar Cercelescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. When Hafriz Tan came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the ATLANTIS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hafriz Tan couldn't finish the play. Hafriz Tan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Selim Buminhan having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Gaski's goalkeeper Yavuz Selim Buminhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Münir Şahit. When the match was over ATLANTIS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gaski throughout the match.
