Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Çelik Bergin started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Yildirim SK's goalkeeper Hernan Cuarto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Koray Özkar. Yildirim SK's Hernan Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Efe Hizanlı in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Çelik Bergin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Cuarto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Kecierengücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koray Özkar to maneuver through the defense. After 15th play minutes Koray Özkar shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Hernan Cuarto and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 17th minute, Koray Özkar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 minutes, Ahmet Ali Güdeş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yildirim SK and the Kecierengücü players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yildirim SK! Haydar Çeliker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Andrysiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Victor Creangă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Haydar Çeliker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haydar Çeliker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Creangă in the 42nd minute of play. 2-2 became the score in the 44th minute when Victor Creangă elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Michal Andrysiak made the kick off in the second half. Yildirim SK's Hernan Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çelik Bergin in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Kamuran Melih made a precise shot to the right of Hernan Cuarto. Yildirim SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. In the 66th minute Çelik Bergin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Cuarto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nazım Kırca hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Koray Özkar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Hernan Cuarto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Creangă's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Haydar Çeliker skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Victor Creangă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haydar Çeliker having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Koray Özkar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernan Cuarto was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çelik Bergin in the 87th minute of play forced Yildirim SK's goalkeeper Hernan Cuarto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernan Cuarto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çelik Bergin in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Kamuran Melih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Cuarto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yildirim SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
