Hüseyin Can Öz kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Orhangazi JK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Şamil Atik in the 23rd minute. Orhangazi JK's Şamil Atik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Haydar Çeliker in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Ceyhan Uzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes Orhangazi JK got a freekick which was hit by Kazım Sezen. If Çelik Bergin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Koray Özkar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Orhangazi JK's Savaş Cantekin. Savaş Cantekin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ceyhan Uzel hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Çelik Bergin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Orhangazi JK's goal looked a bit too open when Çelik Bergin came free, but Savaş Cantekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çelik Bergin in the 38th minute of play forced Orhangazi JK's goalkeeper Savaş Cantekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ceyhan Uzel came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Orhangazi JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceyhan Uzel couldn't finish the play. In the 44thth minute of the game Ceyhan Uzel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kecierengücü's Haydar Çeliker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Kamuran Melih hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ceyhan Uzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Kecierengücü were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceyhan Uzel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Koray Özkar got free with Savaş Cantekin in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fadıl Haznedaroğlu in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haydar Çeliker saved Kecierengücü from getting behind. Koray Özkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Savaş Cantekin having to interfere. Fadıl Haznedaroğlu struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Haydar Çeliker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orhangazi JK. Haydar Çeliker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fadıl Haznedaroğlu's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Orkun Hacıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Çelik Bergin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kecierengücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çelik Bergin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
