After 2 played minutes Feriköy got a freekick which was hit by Bedirhan Salikbey. In the 6th minute Tamer Koralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melih Tansan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bedirhan Salikbey during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Feriköy getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Bedirhan Salikbey hit a great ball. In the 14th minute Mehmet Emin Özkutay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melih Tansan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Feriköy defense, Oğuzcan Tunca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melih Tansan. The Feriköy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melih Tansan should have stopped the shot. Melih Tansan came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Yaprakli's Oğuzcan Tunca. But to his dismay, Oğuzcan Tunca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Melih Tansan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzcan Tunca in the 32nd minute of play. Feriköy's Melih Tansan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dursun Ali Seyfi in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute Tamer Koralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melih Tansan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Feriköy's Cezmi Soysaltürk seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cezmi Soysaltürk the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Feriköy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cezmi Soysaltürk had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 38th minute, Cezmi Soysaltürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute of the match Yavuz Selim Erçelik shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melih Tansan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 41st minute Tamer Koralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melih Tansan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feriköy's Melih Tansan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamer Koralp in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Mehmet Emin Özkutay notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Feriköy's Melih Tansan. Melih Tansan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tamer Koralp to make the kick off. Tamer Koralp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melih Tansan having to make a save. 54 minutes into the match, Feriköy's goal looked a bit too open when Tamer Koralp came free, but Melih Tansan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feriköy's Melih Tansan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamer Koralp in the 57th minute of play. When Balaban Otay fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yaprakli's protests and gave Balaban Otay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Balaban Otay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Yaprakli's goalkeeper Cevdet Tengizalp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Oğuzcan Tunca could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Melih Tansan however easily saved by the left post. Oğuzcan Tunca's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Melih Tansan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tamer Koralp took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melih Tansan. Melih Tansan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamer Koralp in the 90th minute of play forced Feriköy's goalkeeper Melih Tansan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feriköy's Melih Tansan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dursun Ali Seyfi in the 91st minute of play.
