When Baysal Vefai fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dogansehir JK's protests and gave Baysal Vefai a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dogansehir JK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Einar Holmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göksun Tuncal, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Dogansehir JK's goal looked a bit too open when Göksun Tuncal came free, but Einar Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şerif Türe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baskın Malgır having to interfere. Dogansehir JK's Einar Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göksun Tuncal in the 17th minute of play. After 19 played minutes, Dogansehir JK's Rüzgar Kilic shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baskın Malgır came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dogansehir JK reached it. Baysal Vefai got his second yellow card in the match during the 23rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Düzici booed when Dogansehir JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baysal Vefai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute of the match, Göksun Tuncal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Einar Holmberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 27 minutes into the game, Türker Boysel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dogansehir JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Düzici the free kick. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dogansehir JK! Mehmet Efe Adar's late challenge caught a Dogansehir JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Efe Adar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Düzici getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Mehmet Efe Adar hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the game, one of Dogansehir JK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 43 minutes, Düzici's Kuddusî Öztekin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Einar Holmberg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Anıl Sebih got free with Einar Holmberg in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Yahya Karaoğlan to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Kuddusî Öztekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Einar Holmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göksun Tuncal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Düzici's Kemalettin Çağa got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Göksun Tuncal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sercan Demirbaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Baskın Malgır tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Einar Holmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Anıl Sebih in the 71st minute of the match. Mustafa Anıl Sebih scored 3-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Einar Holmberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
