Sivas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tortum FK the free kick. Battal Yörükoğlu hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Tortum FK's Mehdi Tuğaltan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gazanfer Yılma in the 9th minute of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Yavuz Beyhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sivas's Cankut Apaydın was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Korhan Şenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Tayfur Öktemer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sivas's Cankut Apaydın didn't even have to move. Tortum FK's Eyüp Uskan got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Yavuz Beyhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cankut Apaydın. Sivas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yavuz Beyhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 25th minute, Tuğrul Suhan made a precise shot to the right of Mehdi Tuğaltan. Tortum FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Tuğrul Suhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tortum FK's Yavuz Beyhan got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, Sivas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gürol Cezlan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sivas's Korhan Şenal got a free kick in the 36th minute. Battal Yörükoğlu hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Tayfur Öktemer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cankut Apaydın showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Tuğrul Suhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sivas's supporters rose to their feet, but Tuğrul Suhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehdi Tuğaltan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tuğrul Suhan was the one to do the kick off. Tuğrul Suhan struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Mehdi Tuğaltan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sivas. Yavuz Beyhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cankut Apaydın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eyüp Uskan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Sivas's Korhan Şenal got a free kick in the 76th minute. When Tortum FK's Yavuz Beyhan in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sivas's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Sivas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tortum FK:s goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sadettin Vargın during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Sivas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sadettin Vargın to maneuver through the defense. In the 89thth minute of the game Yavuz Beyhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sivas's Cankut Apaydın was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Sivas's Tuğrul Suhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehdi Tuğaltan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tortum FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
