When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Toby Haley put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cankut Apaydın. After 6 minutes, Tuğrul Suhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sivas and the BEŞİKTAŞ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to BEŞİKTAŞ getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Sem Paciência hit a great ball. Gazanfer Yılma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞ's goal looked a bit too open when Gazanfer Yılma came free, but Uğurcan Cakir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BEŞİKTAŞ's Uğurcan Cakir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Battal Yörükoğlu in the 18th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Sem Paciência recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cankut Apaydın. Sem Paciência showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 27th minute of the match Gürol Cezlan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uğurcan Cakir skillfully saved the ball. After 27 played minutes BEŞİKTAŞ got a freekick which was hit by Eren Kutyan. Tuğrul Suhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toby Haley in the 31st minute of play forced Sivas's goalkeeper Cankut Apaydın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toby Haley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Cankut Apaydın when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Sem Paciência fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cankut Apaydın, passed just outside the right post. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sivas's goalkeeper Cankut Apaydın, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞ's goal looked a bit too open when Tuğrul Suhan came free, but Uğurcan Cakir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uğurcan Cakir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gazanfer Yılma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Tuğrul Suhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Toby Haley made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, BEŞİKTAŞ's Berk Özakıncı got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Uğurcan Cakir acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gürol Cezlan. Eren Kutyan kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Gazanfer Yılma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Eren Kutyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th match minute, Sivas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sadettin Vargın to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Sadettin Vargın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Korhan Şenal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Uğurcan Cakir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tuğrul Suhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tuğrul Suhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uğurcan Cakir having to interfere. Uğurcan Cakir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korhan Şenal in the 77th minute of play. After 82 minutes of play, Sivas's Tuğrul Suhan made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uğurcan Cakir was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Toby Haley fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BEŞİKTAŞ's protests and gave Toby Haley a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, BEŞİKTAŞ's Toby Haley got a free kick in the 87th minute. Tuğrul Suhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Uğurcan Cakir made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Korhan Şenal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Uğurcan Cakir. That made the score 3-2 in the 94 minute of play. BEŞİKTAŞ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
