Kılıçhan Atasoy charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kılıçhan Atasoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes TK Vefaspor got a freekick which was hit by Kılıçhan Atasoy. In the 14th minute, Gazanfer Yılma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 董义镇 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th match minute, Sivas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korhan Şenal to maneuver through the defense. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

TK Vefaspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sivas the free kick. After a rather tough play, TK Vefaspor's Theo Imbreghts got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Theo Imbreghts didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Tuğrul Suhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gazanfer Yılma received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 董义镇 came out and tried to block the shot, but Gazanfer Yılma slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 95th minute. Sivas played a much better game than TK Vefaspor and deserved their victory. The TK Vefaspor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
