Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Abdi Saygın Cambaz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 11 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Songurbey Özekan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İbrahim Efe Tuncel. Songurbey Özekan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Saygın Cambaz in the 14th minute of the match. GALATASARAY's Songurbey Özekan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY from getting a goal against them. Abdi Saygın Cambaz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 17 minutes, Emran Çokman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GALATASARAY and the Kasimpasa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes GALATASARAY got a freekick which was hit by Emran Çokman. After 18 played minutes, Kasimpasa's Mehmet Osman Sabuncu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Songurbey Özekan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kasimpasa reached it. Songurbey Özekan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sezen Toprak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ahmet Ali Sezer fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GALATASARAY's protests and gave Ahmet Ali Sezer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Ahmet Ali Sezer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Songurbey Özekan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdi Saygın Cambaz in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Kasimpasa getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sezen Toprak hit a great ball. İldeniz Özbekkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, İbrahim Efe Tuncel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Songurbey Özekan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a little luck, GALATASARAY's Songurbey Özekan got control of the ball when İbrahim Efe Tuncel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Saygın Cambaz came free, but Songurbey Özekan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kasimpasa! Songurbey Özekan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Saygın Cambaz in the 62nd minute of the match. Songurbey Özekan came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Kasimpasa's Abdi Saygın Cambaz. But to his dismay, Abdi Saygın Cambaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 72nd minute İbrahim Efe Tuncel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Songurbey Özekan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If İldeniz Özbekkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emran Çokman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st match minute, Kasimpasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halil Özsan to maneuver through the defense. Songurbey Özekan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İbrahim Efe Tuncel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GALATASARAY's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Kasimpasa had won, even though GALATASARAY had held more of the ball.
