Denizhan Hunalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Kartal Uraltan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Isparta's zone, Cezmi Şanlı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kartal Uraltan came out of the goal and Cezmi Şanlı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cezmi Şanlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdurrahim Tayfur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kartal Uraltan having to interfere. Arif Cengiz Kudret charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arif Cengiz Kudret the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, one of Isparta:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Isparta.

After 63 played minutes, Isparta's Özgür Akaydın shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Merih Yiğit came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Isparta reached it. Cezmi Şanlı might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kartal Uraltan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cezmi Şanlı ran back to his position shaking his head. When Bektaş Uluberk fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sivasspor's protests and gave Bektaş Uluberk a yellow card for diving instead.
