Orhan Veli Ermiye fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Reha Orkan having to interfere. Ahmet Reha Orkan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kartal Derelioğlu's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The supporters of Ortaköy booed when BİLGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şaban Çakman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Ceyhun Birsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ortaköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceyhun Birsoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
