Spectators: 6593 (Terracing: 5593, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Songur Salar started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Digor got a freekick which was hit by Songur Salar. İldeniz Özbekkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Mikail Yılkan sped through GALATASARAY's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Songurbey Özekan. In the 18th minute, Atalay Celilay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sadettin Taci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Ali Sezer in the 23rd minute. When Emran Çokman fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GALATASARAY's protests and gave Emran Çokman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Emran Çokman got a free kick in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Orçun Egeli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Digor's supporters rose to their feet, but Orçun Egeli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Songurbey Özekan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İldeniz Özbekkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Ali Sezer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sadettin Taci having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, İldeniz Özbekkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but İldeniz Özbekkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İldeniz Özbekkan to make the kick off. Ahmet Ali Sezer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sadettin Taci having to interfere. Ahmet Ali Sezer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Sadettin Taci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Mikail Yılkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes GALATASARAY got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Ali Sezer. In the 70th minute, Ahmet Ali Sezer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GALATASARAY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. GALATASARAY's Songurbey Özekan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Songur Salar in the 74th minute of play. Orçun Egeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Songurbey Özekan having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Digor's goal looked a bit too open when İldeniz Özbekkan came free, but Sadettin Taci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Ahmet Ali Sezer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sadettin Taci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Songurbey Özekan made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Orçun Egeli sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Emran Çokman had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Songur Salar was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of GALATASARAY booed when Digor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Songur Salar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duman Cezlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orçun Egeli might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Songurbey Özekan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orçun Egeli ran back to his position shaking his head.
