The referee ignored Delice JK's protests and gave Köksal Berin a yellow card for diving instead. Köksal Berin hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Kasimpasa's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Nedim İlhan came free, but Ahmet Ceyhan Cihangir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Servet İltemir hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Güral Yağızer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Ceyhan Cihangir having to interfere. If Ahmet Nedim İlhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmet Ceyhan Cihangir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Nedim İlhan's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. During the 47th minute of the match Mehmet Osman Sabuncu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mehmet Osman Sabuncu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ahmet Ceyhan Cihangir was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Köksal Berin. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. İbrahim Efe Tuncel was the one to do the kick off.
