That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Merih Yiğit made an important save on a dangerous shot by Metehan İcmal in the 10th minute. Mirkelam Vecdet scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ayvaz Baytüze, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cezmi Şanlı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayvaz Baytüze having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Çağdaş Vasfi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ayvaz Baytüze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mirkelam Vecdet, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Metehan İcmal came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Merih Yiğit could save by the left post. Ayvaz Baytüze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdurrahim Tayfur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as SUSURLUK SK's Mahir Tuğsan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Merih Yiğit. That made the score 2-1 after 28 minutes of play. Çağdaş Vasfi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merih Yiğit having to interfere. Metehan İcmal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Merih Yiğit firmly grabbed it by the left post. Merih Yiğit came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by SUSURLUK SK's Mahir Tuğsan. But to his dismay, Mahir Tuğsan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 43rd minute of the match, İldeniz Erbay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Merih Yiğit saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ayvaz Baytüze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mirkelam Vecdet, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, Sivasspor's Cezmi Şanlı got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mahir Tuğsan was the one to do the kick off. Recep Necaettin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merih Yiğit having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Cezmi Şanlı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ayvaz Baytüze. SUSURLUK SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cezmi Şanlı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 56th minute, Hasret Kuray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merih Yiğit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metehan İcmal in the 59th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Arın İskender put in a rough tackle. A collision led to SUSURLUK SK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Arın İskender hit a great ball. Sivasspor's Hasan Ali Girgin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ayvaz Baytüze but with some difficulty. The crowd rose to their feet as Mirkelam Vecdet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ayvaz Baytüze. That made the score 3-3 in the 66 minute of play. When Denizhan Hunalp came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Sivasspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denizhan Hunalp couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Metehan İcmal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SUSURLUK SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-4. 85 minutes into the match, SUSURLUK SK's goalkeeper Ayvaz Baytüze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cezmi Şanlı. In the 91stth minute of the game Cezmi Şanlı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SUSURLUK SK's Ayvaz Baytüze was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SUSURLUK SK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sivasspor had controlled the match.
