Erzurumspor's Kunter Ekincioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Güce SK's İlker Yamanöz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 梅阳梁 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erzurumspor were furious when Artun Özoğuz was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Erzurumspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kunter Ekincioğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ali Nejat Özkurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kunter Ekincioğlu in the 47th minute of play.

梅阳梁 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Atabey Doğanten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 55 minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Kunter Ekincioğlu notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Güce SK's Ali Nejat Özkurt. In the 70th match minute, Erzurumspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilge Kağan Ulu to maneuver through the defense. İlker Yamanöz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but 梅阳梁 made a huge save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kunter Ekincioğlu couldn't finish the play. Kunter Ekincioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Erzurumspor fully deserved thier win.
