Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ahmet Boran Taçkın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hidayet İrgun in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ümit Ülgenalp in the 10th minute of play forced KNT's goalkeeper Ahmet Boran Taçkın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mustafa Hakan Öğeturk fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Göle's protests and gave Mustafa Hakan Öğeturk a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Göle getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Mustafa Hakan Öğeturk hit a great ball. KNT's Faruk Sezai shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Abdulkadir Suavi but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hidayet İrgun in the 18th minute of play forced KNT's goalkeeper Ahmet Boran Taçkın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Boran Taçkın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ümit Ülgenalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hidayet İrgun in the 24th minute of play forced KNT's goalkeeper Ahmet Boran Taçkın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in KNT's zone, Hidayet İrgun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Boran Taçkın came out of the goal and Hidayet İrgun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Boran Taçkın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ümit Ülgenalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdulkadir Suavi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eren Özkar in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Ümit Ülgenalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Boran Taçkın. KNT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ümit Ülgenalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ersin Türel during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KNT getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ersin Türel hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ümit Ülgenalp was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, KNT's goal looked a bit too open when Ümit Ülgenalp came free, but Ahmet Boran Taçkın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Boran Taçkın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ümit Ülgenalp in the 57th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Göle's Ahmet Boran Taçkın threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mustafa Hakan Öğeturk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ümit Ülgenalp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ahmet Boran Taçkın came out and tried to block the shot, but Ümit Ülgenalp slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 78th minute. In the 84th minute, Göle's Ümit Ülgenalp ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmet Boran Taçkın. Ahmet Boran Taçkın yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Ümit Ülgenalp took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Ahmet Boran Taçkın to make any attempt to save it. The KNT fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Göle were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
