An unexpectedly hard shot by Ümit Ülgenalp in the 3rd minute of play forced Gemerek SK's goalkeeper Yavuz Bülent Halıcı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Hakan Yalavaç in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdulkadir Suavi saved Göle from getting behind. Abdulkadir Suavi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Hakan Yalavaç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Hakan Yalavaç was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Yavuz Bülent Halıcı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hidayet İrgun in the 51st minute of the match. If Ahmet Hakan Yalavaç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdulkadir Suavi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hakan Yalavaç in the 60th minute of play. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ahmet Hakan Yalavaç sped through Göle's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abdulkadir Suavi. 66 minutes into the match, Göle's goal looked a bit too open when Uğurcan Batır came free, but Abdulkadir Suavi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gemerek SK's Akın İmamoğlu got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Ahmet Hakan Yalavaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulkadir Suavi having to interfere. Ümit Ülgenalp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yavuz Bülent Halıcı came out and tried to block the shot, but Ümit Ülgenalp slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Göle's Atalan Uğurtan got a free kick in the 85th minute. Ahmet Hakan Yalavaç took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdulkadir Suavi. Abdulkadir Suavi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Göle's zone, Ahmet Hakan Yalavaç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulkadir Suavi came out of the goal and Ahmet Hakan Yalavaç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ümit Ülgenalp, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 96 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Yavuz Bülent Halıcı was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
