But to his dismay, Ahmet Hakan Toraman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to KNT getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Yavuz Selimhan Güdeş hit a great ball. Arif Gaffar Başar charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arif Gaffar Başar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Acigöl FK's Arif Gaffar Başar got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ahmet Boran Taçkın didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İsmail Orhun Yuluğ went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Pekin Geylanoğullarından was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ateş Tekecan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 38 minute of play. Recep Tayyip Akkaş's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Boran Taçkın read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eren Özkar was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Acigöl FK booed when KNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ateş Tekecan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Acigöl FK's Pekin Geylanoğullarından played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eren Özkar in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Acigöl FK's Burhanettin Tunay got a free kick in the 58th minute. 66 minutes into the match, KNT's Eren Özkar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pekin Geylanoğullarından narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Faruk Sezai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Acigöl FK's supporters rose to their feet, but İsmail Orhun Yuluğ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faruk Sezai kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
