Abidin Ekabir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lütfü Kamaci in the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to HİDAYET FK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. İnanç Mirza hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Çelik Başbuğoğlu during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes HİDAYET FK got a freekick which was hit by Çelik Başbuğoğlu. Abidin Ekabir came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by EREGLİSPOR's Gürhan Pekel. But to his dismay, Gürhan Pekel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arif Gaffar Özduru scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erkan Yurtseven, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gökberk Sargın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abidin Ekabir having to interfere. After a rather tough play, HİDAYET FK's Çelik Başbuğoğlu got a free kick in the 38th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Necmettin Balcan to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lütfü Kamaci in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abidin Ekabir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erkan Yurtseven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Gaffar Özduru, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. İnanç Mirza's late challenge caught a EREGLİSPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İnanç Mirza helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ertuğrul İleri during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes EREGLİSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Ertuğrul İleri. After 69 played minutes, HİDAYET FK's Arif Gaffar Özduru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erkan Yurtseven came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in HİDAYET FK reached it. In the 74th minute, Güntekin Kuvvet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Necmettin Balcan struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Erkan Yurtseven didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HİDAYET FK. In the 85th minute Pars Yoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erkan Yurtseven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abidin Ekabir made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Gökberk Sargın sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 90 minutes, Gökberk Sargın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EREGLİSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökberk Sargın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 91 in the game by Gökberk Sargın from a close distance when the talented Abidin Ekabir managed to make a qualified save. HİDAYET FK's players were relieved. When Paşa Ali Tolunbay fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HİDAYET FK's protests and gave Paşa Ali Tolunbay a yellow card for diving instead.
