Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Iydere's Rahmi Bucuklu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rahmi Bucuklu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Talat Uçbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Talat Uçbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sungurbey Uzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Sungurbey Uzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Sungurbey Uzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talat Uçbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Talat Uçbay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rahmi Bucuklu's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Dündar Kadir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kastamonu JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iydere the free kick. A collision led to Kastamonu JK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Dündar Kadir hit a great ball. The supporters of Iydere booed when Kastamonu JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nadir Altın didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Rahmi Bucuklu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iydere's supporters rose to their feet, but Rahmi Bucuklu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Talat Uçbay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Talat Uçbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sungurbey Uzer in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Kastamonu JK's goal looked a bit too open when Sungurbey Uzer came free, but Talat Uçbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kastamonu JK's zone, Sungurbey Uzer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Talat Uçbay came out of the goal and Sungurbey Uzer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute Sungurbey Uzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talat Uçbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rahmi Bucuklu in the 44th minute of play forced Kastamonu JK's goalkeeper Talat Uçbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Kastamonu JK got a freekick which was hit by Çelebi Kelami.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gündüz Yadigar made a kick off. Kastamonu JK's Talat Uçbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sungurbey Uzer in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iydere's goalkeeper Ahmet Hamdi Sümeroğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Talat Uçbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sungurbey Uzer in the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Gündüz Yadigar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kastamonu JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gündüz Yadigar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 71 minutes Kastamonu JK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hayati Şahit who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Iydere's Yiğit Can Başaydın to fire away a dangerous shot which Talat Uçbay despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Talat Uçbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rahmi Bucuklu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Kastamonu JK's Talat Uçbay got control of the ball when Rahmi Bucuklu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kastamonu JK's zone, Sungurbey Uzer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Talat Uçbay came out of the goal and Sungurbey Uzer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rahmi Bucuklu got free with Talat Uçbay in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Iydere's Rahmi Bucuklu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Talat Uçbay. That made the score 0-1 after 84 minutes of play. In the 89th minute, Dündar Kadir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Iydere's Yüce Kiray seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Yüce Kiray the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Iydere protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Yüce Kiray had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Iydere!
