Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Geçkinli's Mehmet Ediz Tanbek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind KeSRiM's goalkeeper Volkan Sanih, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. KeSRiM's Volkan Sanih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Ediz Tanbek in the 9th minute of play. Yüksel Varol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volkan Sanih having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, KeSRiM's goal looked a bit too open when Yüksel Varol came free, but Volkan Sanih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamit Özgeer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Sinan Ağaoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Geçkinli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuddusî Saatçioğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Mehmet Ediz Tanbek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volkan Sanih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, KeSRiM's goal looked a bit too open when Batu Cem Ateş came free, but Volkan Sanih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Batu Cem Ateş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volkan Sanih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Ediz Tanbek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volkan Sanih having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Latif Elçibey to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Latif Elçibey in the 53rd minute of play forced Geçkinli's goalkeeper Sinan Ağaoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kuddusî Saatçioğlu hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Hamit Özgeer's late challenge caught a Geçkinli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamit Özgeer helped the player get up and apologised. Göksel Umar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Volkan Sanih. KeSRiM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zülfikar Satıbey kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Sinan Ağaoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Latif Elçibey, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Latif Elçibey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sinan Ağaoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Muhittin Uzsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Latif Elçibey made a precise shot to the right of Sinan Ağaoğlu. Geçkinli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zülfikar Satıbey in the 96th minute of play forced Geçkinli's goalkeeper Sinan Ağaoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the KeSRiM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
