Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doğan Akgün to make the kick off. After 56 minutes, Yiğit Can Başaydın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iydere and the Iscehisar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zülfikar Volkan's late challenge caught a Iydere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sungurbey Uzer in the 93rd minute of play forced Iscehisar's goalkeeper Cevat Toygun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
