After 15 minutes of play, BoZKuRT SpOr's Sedat Çetinsoy made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehmet Ediz Durdu got free with Cemalettin Demir in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cemalettin Demir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semi Düden in the 37th minute of play. Hayri İlksen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sedat Çetinsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Hayri İlksen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksandr Baigozin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Ediz Durdu took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cemalettin Demir. Cemalettin Demir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Sedat Çetinsoy struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Hayri İlksen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BoZKuRT SpOr. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Semi Düden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Samsunspor's zone, Sedat Çetinsoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hayri İlksen came out of the goal and Sedat Çetinsoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Semi Düden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cemalettin Demir was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Cemalettin Demir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Ediz Durdu in the 58th minute of the match. Mehmet Ediz Durdu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cemalettin Demir having to make a save. Cemalettin Demir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semi Düden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Ediz Durdu succeeded in the game's 70th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. When Aleksandr Baigozin came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the BoZKuRT SpOr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksandr Baigozin couldn't finish the play. Cemalettin Demir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Ediz Durdu in the 82nd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Aleksandr Baigozin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hayri İlksen. Aleksandr Baigozin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. Semih Dursunali kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şerif İcmal got free with Hayri İlksen in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Semi Düden took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cemalettin Demir. Cemalettin Demir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Samsunspor fully deserved thier win.
