Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Murat Umman started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, 1922 Konyaspor's Yıldıray İğdemir threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yiğit Tanyeri, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Mircea Panaiteanu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Yıldıray İğdemir to make any attempt to save it. Mircea Panaiteanu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Yıldıray İğdemir skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 15 minutes, Yiğit Tanyeri made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sakaryaspor's Yıldıray İğdemir tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Yiğit Tanyeri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Yıldıray İğdemir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Yiğit Tanyeri came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the 1922 Konyaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yiğit Tanyeri couldn't finish the play. Mircea Panaiteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Yiğit Tanyeri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

If Yiğit Tanyeri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yiğit Tanyeri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldıray İğdemir having to interfere. Eralp Ulvi got a throw-in 69 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Murat Umman. When 1922 Konyaspor's Mircea Panaiteanu in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Yıldıray İğdemir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yiğit Tanyeri in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes in the game, Yiğit Tanyeri dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 96th minute, Yiğit Tanyeri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yıldıray İğdemir was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. When the referee ended the match the 1922 Konyaspor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
