A sloppy throw-in by Dündar Vecdet in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by 1922 Konyaspor's Mustafa Nasreddin. When Yiğit Tanyeri came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the 1922 Konyaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yiğit Tanyeri couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Yiğit Tanyeri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Sakut Ortaçgil made a huge save. 1922 Konyaspor's Yiğit Tanyeri was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
