Spectators: 7450 (Terracing: 5589, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Murat Umman made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the game, Emin İlkut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ßαƒrα šκ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sakaryaspor the free kick. After 5 played minutes ßαƒrα šκ got a freekick which was hit by Emin İlkut. In the 8th minute, Emin İlkut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yıldıray İğdemir was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tahir Kazım fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldıray İğdemir having to interfere. After 13 played minutes ßαƒrα šκ got a freekick which was hit by Tahir Kazım. 20 minutes into the match, ßαƒrα šκ's goal looked a bit too open when Murat Umman came free, but Batuhan Suerdem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ßαƒrα šκ's Batuhan Suerdem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozan Tacal in the 25th minute of play. Yıldıray İğdemir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Necdet Koçyiğit in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozan Tacal in the 36th minute of play forced ßαƒrα šκ's goalkeeper Batuhan Suerdem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ßαƒrα šκ's Tahir Kazım got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Necdet Koçyiğit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batuhan Suerdem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murat Umman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Necdet Koçyiğits short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Yıldıray İğdemir to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the ßαƒrα šκ defense, Murat Umman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Batuhan Suerdem. The ßαƒrα šκ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Batuhan Suerdem should have stopped the shot. After the first half Sakaryaspor were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Necdet Koçyiğit to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Murat Umman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Batuhan Suerdem was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 61st minute, Tahir Kazım left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ßαƒrα šκ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 64th match minute, ßαƒrα šκ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necdet Koçyiğit to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of ßαƒrα šκ booed when Sakaryaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Arif Nazım didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batuhan Suerdem was a little too slow when Murat Umman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-4. Necdet Koçyiğit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Yıldıray İğdemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Batuhan Suerdem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ozan Tacal, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Sakaryaspor's Yıldıray İğdemir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necdet Koçyiğit in the 90th minute of play. When the match was over Sakaryaspor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ßαƒrα šκ throughout the match.
