An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozan Tacal in the 9th minute of play forced YUSUFELİ SK's goalkeeper Mehmet Çağrı Hikmettin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sakaryaspor's zone, Daniel Ospin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yıldıray İğdemir came out of the goal and Daniel Ospin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Selmi Tanrıverdi hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The Sakaryaspor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. YUSUFELİ SK were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Murat Umman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Daniel Ospin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YUSUFELİ SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ozan Tacal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Çağrı Hikmettin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Ozan Tacal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Mehmet Çağrı Hikmettin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abayhan Şahsuvaroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yıldıray İğdemir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuri Kırca in the 88th minute of the match. The Sakaryaspor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. YUSUFELİ SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
