Nadir Akbulut hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuri Kırca in the 31st managed to get into a good position. After 38 minutes Tünel's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mateus de Castro who took care of the corner kick. At last the ball reached Ali Baran Tuğser at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Tünel. 2-0. In the 42nd minute Hasan Hüseyin Şahsuvaroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Çağrı Hikmettin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hasan Hüseyin Şahsuvaroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuri Kırca was the one to do the kick off. The tension between the YUSUFELİ SK and the Tünel players grew even worse after the yellow card.
