Samir Timurkan came out of the goal and Kaan Cevizoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samir Timurkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macit Naci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toivo Lillemets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Orçun Zahir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kozan's Kaan Cevizoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samir Timurkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macit Naci in the 14th minute of the match. Samir Timurkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaan Cevizoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A collision led to HACİVATAN getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Neşat Kanat hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Gündüz Sarif in the 18th minute of play forced HACİVATAN's goalkeeper Samir Timurkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes, Ahmet Gündüz Sarif mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kozan and the HACİVATAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Kozan got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Gündüz Sarif. HACİVATAN's Samir Timurkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macit Naci in the 32nd minute of play. After 38 minutes, Aktan Tozan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kozan and the HACİVATAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kozan's Aktan Tozan got a free kick in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, HACİVATAN's Fethi Tanırer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 48th minute, Toivo Lillemets got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaan Cevizoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. If Toivo Lillemets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mehmet Ferit Kenan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Macit Naci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Samir Timurkan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samir Timurkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaan Cevizoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Ahmet Gündüz Sarif was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. The supporters of HACİVATAN booed when Kozan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Gündüz Sarif didn't get a good kick on the ball. Macit Naci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Kozan's goal looked a bit too open when Toivo Lillemets came free, but Orçun Zahir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samir Timurkan came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Kozan's Macit Naci. But to his dismay, Macit Naci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Aktan Tozan kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
