In the 24th minute, Utkan Afşar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erdi Refiğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Atilla Bumin Sartık tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mandarino SK defense, Turan Çağan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nusret Aktay. The Mandarino SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nusret Aktay should have stopped the shot. Nusret Aktay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turan Çağan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erdi Refiğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Atilla Bumin Sartık tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Ulvi Ülker fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Atilla Bumin Sartık made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metehan Terzioğlu in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Turan Çağan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bandırmaspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulvi Ülker to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Bandırmaspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emre Sarıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erdi Refiğ in the 54th minute of play forced Bandırmaspor's goalkeeper Atilla Bumin Sartık to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilla Bumin Sartık prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Utkan Afşar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulvi Ülker struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Atilla Bumin Sartık didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mandarino SK. Ulvi Ülker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atilla Bumin Sartık read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bandırmaspor's Emre Sarıoğlu got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the game, Ulvi Ülker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Atilla Bumin Sartık was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atilla Bumin Sartık stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erdi Refiğ's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Bandırmaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Ulvi Ülker came free, but Atilla Bumin Sartık reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
