The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, GumusAda054's Can Özerkin got a free kick in the 24th minute. 0-3 became the score in the 30th minute when Türker Tunca elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Mahir Zafer came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Karasu's Lütfü Sadi. But to his dismay, Lütfü Sadi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Mahir Zafer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nurkan Oker, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. GumusAda054's Mahir Zafer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökmen Peşrev in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Karasu were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Behiç Sıratullah made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the GumusAda054 defense, Türker Tunca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mahir Zafer. The GumusAda054 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mahir Zafer should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türker Tunca in the 58th minute of play forced GumusAda054's goalkeeper Mahir Zafer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arif Burak Nejat during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Karasu booed when GumusAda054 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Burak Nejat didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lütfü Sadi got free with Mahir Zafer in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Despite close surveillance by the defense, Türker Tunca managed to send off a shot that put the ball into the goal to the left of a disappointed goalkeeper. 0-8 in the 81st minute. Türker Tunca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gökmen Peşrev got free with Mahir Zafer in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Karasu's Türker Tunca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mahir Zafer. That made the score 0-9 after 89 minutes of play. Mahir Zafer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lütfü Sadi in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Zikri Ersal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
