Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) After 5 played minutes Karasu got a freekick which was hit by Nadir Songün. 11 minutes into the match, Gencalp Saik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmondo Tatangelo. Karasu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gencalp Saik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Erdem Taştan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Türker Tunca's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Korcan Çinucen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Harran fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Edmondo Tatangelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencalp Saik in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökmen Peşrev in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erdem Taştan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 24 played minutes Harran got a freekick which was hit by Korcan Çinucen. Gökmen Peşrev took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erdem Taştan. Erdem Taştan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Gökmen Peşrev scored 2-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erdem Taştan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Harran's goal looked a bit too open when Türker Tunca came free, but Erdem Taştan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Lütfü Sadi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karasu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2.

Erdem Taştan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökmen Peşrev, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karasu's goalkeeper Edmondo Tatangelo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Gökmen Peşrev made a precise shot to the right of Erdem Taştan. Harran's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-2. After 89 minutes, Alparslan Sönmez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karasu and the Harran players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Harran booed when Karasu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alparslan Sönmez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karasu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harran the free kick. A collision led to Karasu getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Lütfü Sadi hit a great ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Gökmen Peşrev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karasu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökmen Peşrev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th match minute, Harran was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korcan Çinucen to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Karasu were the better team. Karasu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
