Azim Özerman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 59 minutes of play, Karagümrük FK's Kuzey Turalp made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bahtiyar Taymaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karagümrük FK's Azim Özerman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Karagümrük FK from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bayındır Mehmet Erdem got free with Azim Özerman in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Azim Özerman came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Akköy's Bayındır Mehmet Erdem. But to his dismay, Bayındır Mehmet Erdem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. 72 minutes into the match, Karagümrük FK's goal looked a bit too open when Caleb Higson came free, but Azim Özerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bahtiyar Taymaz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Azim Özerman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayberk Pehlivan in the 92nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Akköy's Caleb Higson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Azim Özerman. That made the score 1-11 after 93 minutes of play. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Azim Özerman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the final whistle sounded Akköy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Karagümrük FK.
