Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 50) Karagümrük FK's Kuzey Turalp started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Merih Ulukaan got free with Azim Özerman in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute, Ahmet Kutsi Tezeren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Karagümrük FK's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Lucaci came free, but Azim Özerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kuzey Turalp took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radowit Andrysiak. Radowit Andrysiak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 23rd minute Merih Ulukaan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azim Özerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karagümrük FK's Azim Özerman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Karagümrük FK from getting a goal against them. Azim Özerman made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Merih Ulukaan sent off a good shot on target. Ahmet Kutsi Tezeren's late challenge caught a Konyaspor AŞ.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Kutsi Tezeren helped the player get up and apologised. Ahmet Kutsi Tezeren hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Evren Şükran with Şimşek Pala as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Konyaspor AŞ.'s Paul Lucaci got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Karagümrük FK's goalkeeper Azim Özerman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Merih Ulukaan. Konyaspor AŞ.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paul Lucaci in the 47th minute. A nice corner shot did that Paul Lucaci got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Azim Özerman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paul Lucaci to make the kick off. Azim Özerman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Lucaci in the 51st minute of the match. Azim Özerman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efekan Turcan in the 56th minute of play. But to his dismay, Ahmet Refik Lokman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Paul Lucaci scored 7-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Azim Özerman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Selahaddin Özçelik notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Karagümrük FK's Azim Özerman. Azim Özerman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the match, Karagümrük FK's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Lucaci came free, but Azim Özerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Konyaspor AŞ. fully deserved thier win.
