Cüneyt Çerağ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdulbaki Mevlit struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Aytekin Gencal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altay SK. Mustafa Ekrem Erincer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alkan Özgun in the 18th minute of the match. When Cüneyt Çerağ came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Altay SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cüneyt Çerağ couldn't finish the play. Aytekin Gencal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cüneyt Çerağ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Atasehir's Alkan Özgun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Ekrem Erincer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mustafa Ekrem Erincer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alkan Özgun's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Aytekin Gencal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cüneyt Çerağ, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30th match minute, Altay SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eren Kandemir to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Alkan Özgun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alkan Özgun in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Ekrem Erincer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alkan Özgun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Altay SK's goal looked a bit too open when Alkan Özgun came free, but Mustafa Ekrem Erincer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mahsun Renan charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mahsun Renan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Mahsun Renan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd match minute, Altay SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şensoy Dursunali to maneuver through the defense. Eren Kandemir charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eren Kandemir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eren Kandemir hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes, Atasehir's Ünal Hatmi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mustafa Ekrem Erincer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atasehir reached it. If Alkan Özgun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes Altay SK got a freekick which was hit by Eren Kandemir. Bayezit Sanbay struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Mustafa Ekrem Erincer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atasehir. Altay SK's Mustafa Ekrem Erincer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkan Özgun in the 61st minute of play. Bayezit Sanbay took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mustafa Ekrem Erincer. Mustafa Ekrem Erincer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Altay SK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Şensoy Dursunali hit a great ball. Altay SK's Eren Kandemir got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Eren Kandemir off the ground. After 71 played minutes Altay SK got a freekick which was hit by Eren Kandemir. 77 minutes into the match, Atasehir's Alkan Özgun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Ekrem Erincer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mustafa Ekrem Erincer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alkan Özgun in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Atasehir booed when Altay SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şensoy Dursunali didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bayezit Sanbay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th match minute, Altay SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Ali Cingöz to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Altay SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atasehir:s goal. Ünal Hatmi placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Bayezit Sanbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mustafa Ekrem Erincer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkan Özgun in the 99th minute of play forced Altay SK's goalkeeper Mustafa Ekrem Erincer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
