But to his dismay, Efe Sarı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efe Sarı in the 27th minute of play forced Gerigeldim's goalkeeper Talip Vefa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes of play, Starbucks's Şener Erben made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Talip Vefa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gafur Onuker kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efe Sarı in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Talip Vefa saved Gerigeldim from getting behind. If Cemal Ayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Thanks to some nice moves Şener Erben could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Talip Vefa however easily saved by the left post. Merih Ünsever charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Merih Ünsever the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Starbucks getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Şener Erben's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Talip Vefa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Cemal Ayman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Efe Sarı might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Talip Vefa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Efe Sarı ran back to his position shaking his head. If Şener Erben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Gerigeldim's goalkeeper Talip Vefa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şener Erben. Gerigeldim's Talip Vefa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Gerigeldim from getting a goal against them. Gerigeldim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 93rd minute Şener Erben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talip Vefa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Starbucks's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
