Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Besiktas's Yüce Kocak started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yılmaz Başar's late challenge caught a Besiktas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fikret Orkan charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fikret Orkan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Besiktas's Fikret Orkan got a free kick in the 14th minute. Bülent Keçecioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Munio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Orhan Veli Derelioğlu with Vecdet Balcı as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Munio in the 24th minute of play forced Besiktas's goalkeeper Bülent Keçecioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Besiktas's Yüce Kocak got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Hami Volkan put in a rough tackle. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Besiktas! Bülent Keçecioğlu went to the wrong direction when Orhan Veli Derelioğlu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ruhi Reyyan sped through Besiktas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bülent Keçecioğlu. Besiktas's Bülent Keçecioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruhi Reyyan in the 36th minute of play. Güngör Yamanöz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Samuel Munio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Munio in the 47th minute of play forced Besiktas's goalkeeper Bülent Keçecioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuel Munio to strike the kick off in the second half. Bülent Keçecioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orhan Özguven in the 52nd minute of play. Bülent Keçecioğlu came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by GüzelbahÇe SK's Samuel Munio. But to his dismay, Samuel Munio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Samuel Munio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bülent Keçecioğlu having to make a save. If Yüce Kocak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bülent Keçecioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orhan Özguven in the 64th minute of play. Besiktas's Bülent Keçecioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orhan Özguven in the 66th minute of play. Alekos Kostis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bülent Keçecioğlu having to interfere. Ruhi Reyyan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Bülent Keçecioğlu made a huge save. 72 minutes into the match, GüzelbahÇe SK's goal looked a bit too open when Fikret Orkan came free, but Bilgehan Balatürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Besiktas getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Sungurhan Eke hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the game, Ruhi Reyyan lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Bülent Keçecioğlu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Munio got free with Bülent Keçecioğlu in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79thth minute of the game Samuel Munio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Besiktas's Bülent Keçecioğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhan Özguven in the 80th minute of play forced Besiktas's goalkeeper Bülent Keçecioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bülent Keçecioğlu made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Samuel Munio sent off a good shot on target. Bülent Keçecioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruhi Reyyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Samuel Munio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bülent Keçecioğlu having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GüzelbahÇe SK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
