In the 31stth minute of the game Gani Ünsaç who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gokhan SK's Soner Öztekin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Müjdat Zeval kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Gokhan SK got a freekick which was hit by Müfit Ulusan. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gökhun Orak to make the kick off. Soner Öztekin went to the wrong direction when Mahsun Pozan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The supporters of Rizegücü booed when Gokhan SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kazım Metehan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Mahsun Pozan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soner Öztekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
