Güner Arınç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahsun Pozan in the 29th minute of the match. Serhat Pektaşi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naim Ergüleç, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Balkes Spor's Naim Ergüleç got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Gani Ünsaç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güner Arınç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahsun Pozan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gani Ünsaç to make the kick off. It was beautiful to see Rizegücü's Mahsun Pozan in action when he in the 57th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. After 65 played minutes Rizegücü got a freekick which was hit by Halil Can Umay. In the 69th minute, Gani Ünsaç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gani Ünsaç who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Güner Arınç when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 73 played minutes Balkes Spor got a freekick which was hit by Karhan Sevgen. Gani Ünsaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rizegücü's Gani Ünsaç got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mahsun Pozan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güner Arınç having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Gani Ünsaç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mahsun Pozan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gani Ünsaç charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gani Ünsaç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Rizegücü got a freekick which was hit by Gani Ünsaç. Güner Arınç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gani Ünsaç in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Karhan Sevgen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
