Spectators: 7534 (Terracing: 5652, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) PABLO III's Batuhan Arman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tarık Yiğitcan hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. PABLO III's Kudret Taştan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vahit Kaplan in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Fırat Öner notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of PABLO III's Kudret Taştan. Kudret Taştan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th minute Ataol Onal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kudret Taştan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Onuralp Taran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demiralp Şahinkan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Onuralp Taran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Demiralp Şahinkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Gönen SK got a freekick which was hit by Fırat Öner. Batuhan Arman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ataol Onal struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Kudret Taştan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gönen SK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kemalettin Durucan in the 44th minute of play forced PABLO III's goalkeeper Kudret Taştan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kudret Taştan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vahit Kaplan in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Semi Mazlum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vahit Kaplan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Talat Bakırcı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Kudret Taştan made a huge save. In the 54th minute Batuhan Arman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demiralp Şahinkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ataol Onal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kudret Taştan firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 60th minute of the match, Ataol Onal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kudret Taştan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ataol Onal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Kudret Taştan made a huge save. Kudret Taştan made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Fırat Öner sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of PABLO III booed when Gönen SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kemalettin Durucan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gönen SK's Demiralp Şahinkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batuhan Arman in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes, Ataol Onal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gönen SK and the PABLO III players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes Gönen SK got a freekick which was hit by Ataol Onal. Batuhan Arman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kudret Taştan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fırat Öner in the 87th minute of play. If Onuralp Taran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes, Ecevit Berksan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gönen SK and the PABLO III players grew even worse after the yellow card.
