Lenny Schaerlaekens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erbatur Taşkın in the 5th minute. Hüseyin Rahmi Hayırlı hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Sixto Caspe might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lenny Schaerlaekens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sixto Caspe ran back to his position shaking his head. ESENKENT SPOR's Maksymilian Budrewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Rossi in the 20th minute of play. Lenny Schaerlaekens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erbatur Taşkın's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arif Nihat Albayrak got free with Lenny Schaerlaekens in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maksymilian Budrewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Hayırlı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erbatur Taşkın received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lenny Schaerlaekens came out and tried to block the shot, but Erbatur Taşkın slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 38th minute. Lenny Schaerlaekens made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Erbatur Taşkın sent off a good shot on target. Bedih Unat kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Renan Rossi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Maksymilian Budrewicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erbatur Taşkın to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Eskişehirspor got a freekick which was hit by İbrahim Ethem Tanacan. Lenny Schaerlaekens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erbatur Taşkın in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Renan Rossi made a precise shot to the right of Maksymilian Budrewicz. ESENKENT SPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Sixto Caspe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the game, ESENKENT SPOR's Arif Nihat Albayrak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lenny Schaerlaekens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Arif Nihat Albayrak scored 3-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lenny Schaerlaekens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ESENKENT SPOR's Arif Nihat Albayrak got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Tolga Devlet kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Lenny Schaerlaekens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erbatur Taşkın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Erbatur Taşkın made a precise shot to the right of Lenny Schaerlaekens. Eskişehirspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Eskişehirspor players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
