An unexpectedly hard shot by Ata Enbiya in the 7th minute of play forced EreğliSpor's goalkeeper Özgün Baliç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Tymoteusz Zbytniewski made a precise shot to the right of Gürcan Gayret. Çılgın Kanaryalar FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 12th minute Ata Enbiya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özgün Baliç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Gürcan Gayret successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mustafa Cumhur Ulaç might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Özgün Baliç. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mustafa Cumhur Ulaç ran back to his position shaking his head. Kutalp Uçbeyi hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Mustafa Cumhur Ulaç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hazım Rahmi kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Mustafa Cumhur Ulaç sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Özgün Baliç skillfully saved the ball. Kutalp Uçbeyi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ata Enbiya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Özgün Baliç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Menderes Hazlan hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Gürcan Gayret made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Tymoteusz Zbytniewski sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, EreğliSpor's Gürcan Gayret threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Şaban Dervişoğlu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 34th minute, Ata Enbiya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Özgün Baliç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İslam Hasanbeyli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes, Behzat Hicabi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Çılgın Kanaryalar FK and the EreğliSpor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ata Enbiya struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Özgün Baliç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Çılgın Kanaryalar FK. 47 minutes into the game, EreğliSpor's Tymoteusz Zbytniewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gürcan Gayret made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Şaban Dervişoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, EreğliSpor's Tymoteusz Zbytniewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gürcan Gayret made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. İslam Hasanbeyli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Özgün Baliç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Gürol Nezir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Şaban Dervişoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Gürcan Gayret. Çılgın Kanaryalar FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After 65 played minutes EreğliSpor got a freekick which was hit by Ali Behzat Şikel. Özgün Baliç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İslam Hasanbeyli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EreğliSpor's Özgün Baliç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İslam Hasanbeyli in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tymoteusz Zbytniewski in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gürcan Gayret saved Çılgın Kanaryalar FK from getting behind. After 77 minutes of play, EreğliSpor's Tymoteusz Zbytniewski made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gürcan Gayret was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gürcan Gayret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tymoteusz Zbytniewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rıfkı İmam charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rıfkı İmam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hazım Rahmi lost his temper 88 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 88th minute, Hazım Rahmi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aykan Çelik missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 90 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Özgün Baliç right hand side. 92 minutes into the game, Tymoteusz Zbytniewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Gürcan Gayret was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th match minute, EreğliSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tymoteusz Zbytniewski to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Çılgın Kanaryalar FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for EreğliSpor.
