The long shot by Üzeyir Kazım in the 4th minute really tested Nazil Özilter's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cenan Kayaalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazil Özilter having to interfere. Cenan Kayaalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veni Vidi Vici's Nazil Özilter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yiğit Can Taykoç in the 18th minute of play. Cenan Kayaalp struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Nazil Özilter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Güzelbahce. Yiğit Can Taykoç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cenan Kayaalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazil Özilter having to interfere. Karahan Burçak hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Yiğit Can Taykoç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cenan Kayaalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nazil Özilter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Veni Vidi Vici got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet İlke Sabuncu. Bektaş Ali Bahçıvan lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Veni Vidi Vici:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Güzelbahce:s goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yiğit Can Taykoç to make the kick off. Güzelbahce's Yiğit Can Taykoç got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Cenan Kayaalp put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nazil Özilter. Cenan Kayaalp might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nazil Özilter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cenan Kayaalp ran back to his position shaking his head. Cenan Kayaalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazil Özilter having to interfere. Nazil Özilter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yiğit Can Taykoç, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cenan Kayaalp in the 80th minute of play forced Veni Vidi Vici's goalkeeper Nazil Özilter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nazil Özilter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yiğit Can Taykoç in the 82nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Veni Vidi Vici defense, Yiğit Can Taykoç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nazil Özilter. The Veni Vidi Vici fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nazil Özilter should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute Yiğit Can Taykoç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nazil Özilter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veni Vidi Vici's Dinç Afak was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 91st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Güzelbahce fully deserved thier win.
