Kayserispor's players were relieved. 21 minutes into the game, Mürsel Özgur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Özden Taybars. Mithat Tuğkun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Özden Taybars made a huge save. After some careless play in the Kayserispor defense, Mürsel Özgur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Özden Taybars. The Kayserispor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Özden Taybars should have stopped the shot. Mürsel Özgur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Özden Taybars having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Mithat Tuğkun put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Özden Taybars. The long shot by Tayfur Açıkel in the 67th minute really tested Saadettin Vahapoğlu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With an all-out effort, Kayserispor's Saadettin Vahapoğlu threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kadri Başesgioğlu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tayfur Açıkel charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Mithat Tuğkun scored 7-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Özden Taybars, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cavdarhisar's Saadettin Vahapoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kadri Başesgioğlu in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Kayserispor's goal looked a bit too open when Mürsel Özgur came free, but Özden Taybars reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Cavdarhisar fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Cavdarhisar's Mithat Tuğkun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Cavdarhisar's zone, Eren Özinan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saadettin Vahapoğlu came out of the goal and Eren Özinan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
