An unexpectedly hard shot by Tevfik Tansan in the 4th minute of play forced Değirmenköy FC's goalkeeper Fritz Asserlindh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tevfik Tansan in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fritz Asserlindh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Erkut Esenboğa took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hüseyin Cahit Terzi to make any attempt to save it. 18 minutes in the game Atakan Tezer did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tahir Yasun. After a defensive mix-up in FenerKrallığı SK's zone, Mehmet Çağrı Kuddusi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüseyin Cahit Terzi came out of the goal and Mehmet Çağrı Kuddusi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FenerKrallığı SK booed when Değirmenköy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boran Harmanda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hüseyin Cahit Terzi came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Değirmenköy FC's Erkut Esenboğa. But to his dismay, Erkut Esenboğa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Değirmenköy FC's Ahmet Hayri Nasih got a free kick in the 40th minute. Hüseyin Cahit Terzi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erkut Esenboğa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. Fritz Asserlindh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tevfik Tansan in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tevfik Tansan was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, FenerKrallığı SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Hayri Nasih came free, but Hüseyin Cahit Terzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehmet Çağrı Kuddusi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Bumin Yazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vacib Sabih lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Değirmenköy FC! The goalkeeper, Fritz Asserlindh, was totally fooled by FenerKrallığı SK's Bumin Yazar, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to FenerKrallığı SK getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ali Orhan Çınar hit a great ball. Hüseyin Cahit Terzi came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Değirmenköy FC's Erkut Esenboğa. But to his dismay, Erkut Esenboğa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Hüseyin Cahit Terzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Hayri Nasih in the 97th minute of the match. FenerKrallığı SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
