After 4 played minutes Bolu got a freekick which was hit by Hayrullah Yaygır. In the 5th match minute, Bolu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayrullah Yaygır to maneuver through the defense. Savaşer Erakıncı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 12 minutes, Savaşer Erakıncı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Savaşer Erakıncı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Behçet Arabacı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bornova FK the free kick. Behçet Arabacı kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Çakabey Şamil, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 17th minute Aybar Baysan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mücahit Akaltan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Aybar Baysan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mücahit Akaltan was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The supporters of Bornova FK booed when Bolu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Fikret Sadak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hayrullah Yaygır's late challenge caught a Bornova FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hayrullah Yaygır helped the player get up and apologised. Hayrullah Yaygır kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Sercan Çaykara struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Mücahit Akaltan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bornova FK. Mücahit Akaltan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sercan Çaykara in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Bolu's Savaşer Erakıncı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulvi Kurhan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Savaşer Erakıncı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Savaşer Erakıncı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ulvi Kurhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Oğuzer Benlioğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Savaşer Erakıncı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulvi Kurhan having to interfere. Behçet Arabacı kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Mücahit Akaltan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aybar Baysan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Necip Sezgin's late challenge caught a Bornova FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Necip Sezgin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bolu's Necip Sezgin got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Sercan Çaykara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Bolu's goal looked a bit too open when Aybar Baysan came free, but Mücahit Akaltan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aybar Baysan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mücahit Akaltan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Sercan Çaykara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mücahit Akaltan having to interfere. If Aybar Baysan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Oğuzer Benlioğlu fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bornova FK's protests and gave Oğuzer Benlioğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Savaşer Erakıncı was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Bolu's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 87th minute, Aybar Baysan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Ulvi Kurhan managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Bolu's Savaşer Erakıncı fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 94 minutes into the match, Bornova FK's Sercan Çaykara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mücahit Akaltan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Savaşer Erakıncı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulvi Kurhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The Bornova FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bolu's performance. The match ended with a win for Bolu.
